SDH Chest Binder Short - Medium Skin Tone

Absolutely amazing binder, I would absolutely recommend them. I got 1 small and 1 medium sized binder, and they both fit amazingly. I use the small for days where I have worse dysphoria, and the days where my health issues aren’t as bad, then I use the medium for days where my health is flaring up because it allows me to breathe more freely.
I would say that if you are in between sizes, or unsure of which binder size would fit you properly, go with the bigger of the 2 sizes.

This is the first proper binder I’ve owned, and as pleased as I am to finally have one, I think my expectations were a little too high. In the past I’ve mostly used tape to bind, so this has been a big step up from that.

I will say that it feels secure and comfortable, doesn’t cut in or leave any large marks in my skin, and mostly matches my skin tone, though I might be halfway between this and the paler colour.

However, the compression isn’t as good as I was expecting. I have a smallish chest, a B cup at best, and yet this really doesn’t do much more for me than a sized down sports bra, so I’m a bit disappointed in that regard. The outer lining also sits a little too loosely over the main bodice of the garment, and creates some strange lines that are pretty visible under a t shirt, especially with lighter colours. I could see this in the product image, but it seems a little more pronounce on the product I received.

I’ve only been wearing it for a couple weeks, and not every day, so I can’t say anything for the longevity of it just yet, but I’m nervously hoping for that to hold up against time.

In summary, very comfortable and easy to wear, but visually not what I wanted or was expecting. In the winter months, under a few layers, I will definitely be wearing it, but might try my luck with a different brand once warm weather comes around.

I have struggled with binders recently. They are always either too small or just bad quality. I bought two of the SDH Chest Binders and I am actually in love. It means the world to me and I can't thank Sock Drawer Heroes enough :))

This is my first binder and I was worried it would be painful/tight but it just feels like a sports bra! Works very well and I feel much more comfy!! It does not dig in anywhere and I can easily breathe in it. The material is really nice as well. Only thing is that I can sometimes see the shoulder straps when I wear it but I don't mind. Also came quickly with a nice little note. Would recommend. Thank you SDH!
